This assignment required three different book covers to be designed which used the first letter of the author's name or the book title. This was to be done at a quick pace of a week for each which was to get us to meet deadlines.

This book cover was done on the book Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl. For this, I choose the letter F from the title of the book as this fitted well with the main character of the book which is a fox. I made the letter F look like a fox to fit with the story and also to represent the main character.

 

With the background, I added a pattern of leaves which matches the autumn feel that the book sets out. There are also paw prints on each corner to symbolize the main character and the brown colour in the background is to symbolize dirt or mud.
